Fluorinated ethylene propylene(FEP) resin is a copolymer of TFE and HFP. FEP resin has excellent properties similar to polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and has the characteristics of thermoforming.
FEP has a melting point temperature of 260 ± 5 ℃, relative density of 2.12-2.17, features of chemical inertness, acid and alkali resistance, excellent weather resistance (use temperature range – 80-200 ℃), low dielectric constant in a wide range of temperature and frequency, incombustibility and low friction coefficient.
FEP resin can be molded and extruded into inner lining of pipe and chemical equipment, surface layer of roller and various wires and cables, such as aircraft hook wire, booster cable, alarm cable, flat cable and well logging cable.
